Hey GranstarDarth

We do like to keep the off site linking to a minimum, especially with photos. It is better for the forum to host them here.

It has a lot do with the links going bad, forums pruning posts, or sites going down.

Our forum had problems early this year, but I know Pearl was also crippled for a week when it was hacked last year.

I'm a member there and have worked with Gene Okamoto and others with Pearl history.

So welcome to the site and if you get around to it, get those photos sized and put here so if anything happens at Pearl we can see the drums.

Thanks

David

Welcome to one of the best sources for vintage drum info, Doug. I looked at your first kit (yeah, two links later was a drag - I'm lazy) and liked the outcome. I couldn't help wanting the kick drum to have a matching hoop, though. What heads do you use for single head playing (just curious)?

Very cool.
