One should not live a life filled with regret.

It is rewrapped. 75% off would be a true value sale.

From The Ploughman

One should not live a life filled with regret. It is rewrapped. 75% off would be a true value sale.

+1 with what The Ploughman said. That, plus I wasn't happy about having to read through such a long and somewhat monotonous description to finally learn the kit is a re-wrap! Really don't want to rag on this guy, but he just seems so full of himself with the value of his kit. Well, who am I to burst his balloon?!!

LOL pretty much what I was thinking so i wrote him and asked what he was willing to take as also there is a 72 label 16x18 in that kit that is NOT Dayton here is his reply.... LMAO oh well I guess i just keep on looking... OH and the numbers are far from Matching or even close I guess some folks just don't know....thanks guys

his reply

O really..

If they were the original wrap.

Then I be told o your asking to much for them for the condition there in..

I still have a gold mine thank you..

( GO Fine a 60s Rogers drum-kit number-matching like this in these sizes)..

( O I, FORGOT THERE ARE NONE )..

And from talking to several Vintage drum experts..

The odds of finding another kit in these sizes number matching..

(With a Virgin bass drum) Are Slim To NONE ..

Do You Get It NONE! NONE!

You might get lucky and fine a kit thrown together in these sizes..

But a Virgin bass drum And number matching good ****ing luck...

As a matter of fact Ill pay you $5,000.00..

to fine me another kit just like this one....

But that will never happen!

There must be a psychotic disorder there, somewhere.

Kind of reminds me of that guy on Pawn Stars with the rewrapped Slingerland set... who refused above market price for them.

Mike,

Great hearing from you again!! Hopefully, you can stick around...

As for that seller, he is very arrogant...His drums will never sell with that attitude...There is no need for a seller to curse and swear at a potential buyer...I think that is down-right rude...

Cheers

Most vintage kits are worth are under $2,000, save for a pristine Camco or a Gretsch round badge jazz kit in a rare color. I'd say 95%.

These sellers who think they have a gold mine just don;t know the market.
