Need Help Identifying Premiers Last viewed: 20 hours ago

Hey Guys,

Can you help identifying these Premier drums? I know almost nothing about Premier at all, other than they are British, and make quality drums..lol.

If anyone knows anything about these, I'd love to know. What do you think everything in the pictures would be worth? I realise it's hard to tell what the cymbals are.

Looks like APK from the late 80s, but i could be wrong! Are the Drums black inside?

Premier don't bring in a lot of money, but they're well built. If they're black inside, looking at a $300 kit, if they're not black, it's birch and still probably no more than a $800 kit. Basing this off of daily craigslist monitoring on adhuntr.

If they're black inside, which line is that? What are they made of that makes them less valuable?

Thanks,

Jon

Black inside are APKs or XPKs, the economy line. APKs are wrapped, XPKs are lacquer. Still good drums regardless.

The lugs match this set from the 1987 catalog, called Resonator. The APK lugs don't have the metal link in between, they are two separate lugs. What do you think?
