Need Help Identifying Old Pearls Last viewed: 1 day ago

Loading...

After my recent Slingerland concert tom bonanza - http://www.vintagedrumforum.com/showthread.php?t=36051

I´m on to a new project, restoring the first real kit i ever bought, goodtimes for sure :)

I got these back in 91, and from what i can find around the web - these are mid 60s Pearl drums.

But i just can´t seem to find that crazy finish in any catalouges, any ideas on the identity on these beauties my friends?

Try posting this in the "Non USA Vintage Drum" section of the forum. I bet you'll get responses.

The set os from late 1969 to 72 or so..The color is Pink Diamond Pearl.

Iam just guessing on the shells but are they the 9 ply wood shells with out rings? Better photos would help..Mikey

I have the identical model bass drum with same pearl only in blue - 9 ply without rings. It sounds pretty good. Your kit looks really nice!
