my old "new" Oaklawn Camco kit Last viewed: 11 hours ago

Hi Guys, i've just bought my first Camco set and i'm really satisfied with that drums, she resonates for days! The set consist of a 18x14 bd, 2 12x8 toms and a 14x14 ft, the color is a lovely faded MOSS GREEN STAIN. The only thing where i'm not satisfied is the 2 toms stand, for sure it isn't original and i need expert advises to search the right original parts. The tom holder is a Rogers and the tube is D-shaped, you can see it in the photos.

Any infos and advises are highly appreciated!

Very cool. Green-ish, or faded?

Love it.

Isn't this that limited "green apple" finish?

Shows them in the "newer" picture at the link. Rogers on both.

Rogers hardware was popular to use on lots of drums during that time. If there are no extra holes showing on the interior of the toms, then likely they are original to the shells. Dealers often did this for customers.

Beautiful! Could you post pic's of the interiors with the Roger's hardware removed?

Thanks guys! Can be true the finish is GREEN APPLE, i have removed one of the lugs to see if the color is faded due to light for years but seems not, so it seems the color is this from the factory, very "green appleish", no faded.

@Slingalud: will try to remove the rogers hw inside on one tom to see if there are extra holes or not, at a first view there aren't extra holes but they can be covered by the hw.

The 2 toms stand have a D-shaped profile (like other Rogers seems), because i'm not a Rogers expert what base you advise to use with that ?

Would want an original one that fits that D-profiled tube
