Hi I thought you might like to see my toys most bought into the UK from the states I have been playing Ludwigs since 1977 the Big Black monster was one of my original kits - custom made for me 26 x 16 kicks, the kit was recently restored to like new condition by drum builder Eddy Ryan, the vistalite is a 73 and the duomodular is an 84 with large chicago keystones which is about to be restored, I use an 88 Colosseum, a brass black beauty or a custom built Eddy Ryan Snare also pictured

Thanks for that, I also have them flight cased in Ian Paices Deep Purple/White snake flights, and some of the hardware for this kit came from Ian's garage - I did own a 26 x 18 Silver sparkle 3ply bass owned by Ian when he joined whitesnake but an italian collector made me an offer I couldn't refuse.

Would that be Paulo Sburlati? I know he owns Pacey's Stormbringer Kit as well as Cozy Powell's famous Mach Lug Red Sparkle. Any pictures of that Bass Drum?

How did you guess LOL he actually got Ian to validate the drum for me, I do have piccys somewhere I'll post when I find them, they had the original 3/8ths arc replaced with 1/2s he broke the 3/8ths. I spoke to Ian at length one day about why he moved to Pearl basically it was due the sponsorship deal they offered him but he still uses a 402 in the studio, but can't be seen playing one. I got alot of history about what happened to his kits, for example fireball was played using an old Premier Olympic Kick as a second kick on the original recording.
