From Purdie Shuffle

> trying to sell 'em out of the trunk of his car in the Guitar Center parking Hey! I resemble that remark! LOLI meet some CL guys in the parking lot of a Guitar Center in King Of Prussia because I feel safer with people around. I guess it is kind of a 'Gypsy' thing to do, but then, I'm a Gypsy in my soul...John - *If you buy from me in a parking lot... I am not a crook! :p

No sweat John! Nothing wrong with meeting up with a buyer/seller at the GC lot. I was referring more to the deal where the guy is just hanging out with his trunk lid open displaying his misbegotten drums. Or like the guy with a brand new TV box weighed down with some bricks in the Best Buy lot who's looking for the person who's looking for a "steal".

Sure would be nice if the OP gets all of his gear back! BTW, if they happen to catch the guy trying to move the missing cymbals in the GC parking lot it won't be me or Purdie!!

Believe it or else!

I'm so glad to hear this!! When I read your first post it really bummed me out and stuck with me. I guess this is/was everyone's fear come to light on our community. So, I feel I am celebrating with you. Hoping you also find the cymbals!

Congrats and warm regards from NY.

Logged on and went right to this post astonished to learn of your good news!

Fabulous. I am happy for you. Made my day.

If the technology isn't expensive, maybe a GPS 'chip" buried inside of a lug might be a good safeguard. I'd at least put the ID paper in a lug of each drum. Keep the faith and I hope justice is served! Clapping Happy2

This is one amazing story.

Remember, this ending is unheard of when is comes to this type of theft.

From thornbeck

have you considered a small reward for providing you with key information?

Oh yes. I already gave him $100 when he returned the drums to me. This is how confident I was that he was not involved in the theft. He is just a drum enthusiast, who made a bad decision. Since then, we have been in constant contact, as he is acting as our only witness connecting the drums to the real thief. Without the info that he provided, we wouldn't have any idea who actually stole them. Once all is said and done, we plan on doing something nice for him. He will remain a friend.
