Primarily, i'm a rock drummer. But I can do other styles too. I've just joined a covers band that do everything from thin lizzy to inxs. so I suppose pop is in my repetoire. i'd love to get to play some jazz stuff too. Rich, krupa, weckyl - that kinda stuff, but I just don't get to practice. I've only just got back behind the kit, since our twins were born two and a half years ago! So a little rusty too. But I can tell you, it felt so good to slap those skins after so long.

I play a variety of styles, but mainly in the rock vein. I am trying to teach myself to pay a double kick kit. Oddly enough, I played one; however, the second kick was an ornament as the band I played in back in the heyday of hair metal wanted me to play a large kit (and we rented that kit!).

I don't consider myself a collector AT ALL!!!! While I do have a growing collection of vintage drums, I buy the ugly ones and rework them. This is whether or not I re cover, use new hardware, and the like. Call me a drum hot rodder, if you will.

I've played since I was a kid ,except for an recent interruption due to physical problems. I started tinkering with drum repairs almost 2 years ago. Ringo, Moon(!), Gadd... I've tried to play a little of everything, but, RAP!

My dad was a swing drummer who gave it up for a "real job" when I came along! (My apologies to the music world.) I dig jump blues,50's-70's r&B.

i play all styles when i get a chance but played a lot of rock in my youth nowadays blues and jazz im pretty done with top 40"s but i also play in church now and again depends on music director as my 9 year old is now a cantor in mass what a angelic voice she has id like to do some writing for her and see if i can get her going as shes a very good dancer too has great stage presence so that's that time for the yout'ss of america and the geezer here to step down

Not a collector by any means but would like to be. Not many used sets sitting gathering dust where I live in Upstate NY as far as I can tell.

I just mess around in the basement playing along to Classic Rock with my neighbors listening in.

My interest was started when I first heard "Let there be drums" by Sandy Nelson, Mel Taylor original drummer of The Ventures, believe it or not the drummer for the "Kingsmen" (Louie Louie), then the drum gods from the other side of the pond Baker, Bonham and Mitchell.

What kind of music? Wow. Never considered it.

Over the past month, I've played Praise and Worship, classic rock, jazz, and some very slanted original stuff ... This past Friday night I sat in at the last minute for a "missing" drummer and we played only Transsiberian Orchestra tunes. That was a kick. I had one listen through, a stretch, and then the downbeat. A bit stressful, but it all worked out and we had a blast. Most of these gigs were with my Slingerland Oak kit. Man, those drums sang.
