Congratulations man! Hope you sell the shell packs. Oh, if I had money, there would be no cross-boarder shipping to worry about...:)

Congrats! I can totally see why you covet those sunset satin flames. That is a very cool looking satin flame, and they look in pretty good condition from that photo.
I've gone from being fairly uninterested in satin flame / moire finishes to owning two of my own within the past year. They are really cool looking kits.
Congrats Gary! That's a cool finish too. Never saw that one. Glad you were able to get them. Cool picture of you with your first kit too! Hey if your on Facebook try posting your kits on some of those drum pages. There's a ton of them! Might get some bites.
Thanks - yes, I have them listed on the Drums For Sale - Trade and wanted Group.
I have them on eBay for $3500usd for both sets but I've listed them here and at another Vintage Drum Forum for $2400usd for both sets. I've had them on here a few times for much higher. $2400 for both sets is as low as I will go. The shipping from Canada to the USA is about $250usd for each kit last time I checked. I'd pay 1/2 the shipping. Buyer pays for one and gets one free. That's the best I can do. They are awesome drums for that price. I think it's very fare.
Now all I need is a set of early 1970 Premier Timbales and a 1973 Premier 2004 Chrome snare drum to go with the Sunset Satin Flame drums and I'd have the kit back that I sold in 1976. A truly amazing thing happened last year regarding keeping my eyes open for old gear. I walked into a music store where I live and saw the exact same Caroline ASBA bass drum pedal sitting there for sale. I sold one identical to it when I sold my Satin Flame drums in 76. I didn't buy it but I did tell my wife the story. She surprised me and bought it for me for Father's Day last year. So I do have the same bass drum pedal I used with my old kit. I moved away from this City in 89 and moved back in 2013. What are the chances that the pedal that I have now is my old pedal that I sold 39 years ago. There aren't many like around especially around here. There's a good chance it is my old pedal.

Very cool! I think we should all just decide it *is* the same pedal, and, so there! :)
