1969 Ludwig Green Sparkle (faded Blue Mist) Standard 14 x 14 floor tom1970 Ludwig Blue Sparkle Club Date 20 x 14 bass1971 Ludwig Gold Sparkle 12 x 8 tom1972 Ludwig Red Sparkle Pioneer 14 x 5-ish snareLudwig flat snare and cymbal stands (Camco in pic - oops) and hi-hat standThe bass hardware is made up of old WFL bowties and claws, a seriously old bass tom rail that I modified, and some relatively newer wing spurs. This kit just screams "MUTANT".Calf skin on the toms and Fiberskyn's on the snare and bass. One of the most fun projects I've done. It just came together piece by piece.

My Daughter saw your kit in the gallery and said, "hey..that's like my Jelly Bean drums". She said you have good taste!!!

Some of you may remember, these were for her birthday last April..

Tell her, "thank you so much". It's not so common for myself and "taste" to coexist within the same contextual realm.

Fact is, the juxtaposition of those two together could be construed as one of the rapture signs. You may want to bring in the cat.

If I can find my inexpensive 24 or 26" bass drum, I'll be started putting one of these together. I'm looking at a marching drum, which may be just as good for the concept project. Heck I can sleep behind the set during breaks? Falling Do
