I'd like some honest opinions, I've been offered a Ludwig blue vistalite kit with a 12,13,16,22 and matching snare, plus a 22" Zildjian K Custom ride and a 17" Sabian Vault crash for my Rogers kit. The Ludwig kit has no issues and is clean. He also offered, instead of the vistalites, a Premier Genista kit in a blue teal finish, 10,12,14,22 with matching snare, plus the cymbals I mentioned, thanks.

The vistalite package sounds like a pretty good deal. I don't split hairs where money is concerned, so ten this way or forty that way is a non-issue. The Premier kit is not something I'd do for the Rogers kit. Nice drums, but not vintage. Plus, I love a blue vistalite kit. Just ooze mellow.
I always wanted a blue vistalite kit, and one of these days may pull-the-trigger on picking one up. So, my opinion could be considered somewhat biased.
But I do think RogerSling has already offered some pretty sound advice.

Ya, I like the vistalites too, but I don't know if I want to give up the Rogers, I'd rather sell it and find a wmp kit.
