I have been researching my father's drum set he purchased brand new in october 1975 (we have the original receipt). He passed away last year & my stepmom & i were trying to get an approximate value so that we may put them up for sale. Here is the information that we have gathered

Acrylic vistalite rainbow red, white spun, blue pattern a 3 horizontal stripe

Blue & olive badge w/serial #

You might want to check out eBay and see what the completed auctions have brought for these types of drums while your waiting for some of the more expereinced members to chime in.

So Just to clarify the snare drum is also the triple color pattern vistalite also? The bass drum size is more than likely a 14x22? not 19x22"

Here are the photos i have. For someone who has been playing as long as my dad did, he was an awesome drummer! It was funny how he never learned to read music, he played by sound.he is on youtube, the band was pat pending. They played together for over 20 years.

Except those are a pattern d swirl, the ones we have are pattern a. Like the tequila sunrise, only red white & blue. The white is not see thru its a spun white ????D' Drummer i posted some pics
