First post & here is what I got:

Mahogany shell with maple hoops.

Keystone badge, pre-serial & transition?

When I look into the vent hole, I see a white spray.

Also, I think it is black stamped with : Dec 21, 1962.

The "bow tie" lugs are throwing me off.

Heads seem original with Weather King parade batter head.

Any & all info is appreciated.

Student drum? Low end?

Bought it for $50.

sorry can't remember the model name of your marcher, But no it's not a student model. I've got 2 of this very drum myself they're fantastic snare drums.
