I picked up a SBP 1962 Ludwig yesterday for $300. It came with a COB supra and a box full of junk. Here are the pictures.

22x14

16x16

13x9

14x5

Great condition! Thanks for all the help over the past year of collecting, vintage drum forum community!

Wayne: Thanks!

equipmentdork: I located it around a month ago and set up a date for me to come see/buy. I waited, showed up, talked with the very kind guy I was communicating with for that month and then I gave him the money and walked away with a pretty cool looking set.

JWG: Yes, COB. I never knew how heavy these things were.

I'll put more pictures up as the restoration job begins.

THINGS TO CHECK FOR

- pre-serial badge check

- round-knob muffler check

- no pitting check

- weighs around 10 pounds check

I also have two ludalloy supra-phonics. So, it was pretty obvious when I picked it up and took a look.

Yeah! nice drums! My Ludalloy Supras weigh around 7 lbs. if I remember correctly, so yours very well might be COB!
