I have what i believe is an early '70's Ludwig kit.( blue/olive badges, pointy with serial #'s.)

The 8-lug 16" floor tom and the 13" 6-lug tom are missing reso rims. I would like to add them and need to know if any Ludwig rims will work or must i find vintage rims.

Thanks for your help.

Also, anyone have any experience with EarthTone goatskin heads? Are they an upgrade from Remo WeatherKing Pinstripe? Thinking of trying them for a more vintage sound.
