Hello

I find on ebay this kind od snare. On photos it looks like Supraphonic 6,5 but when I get it I start geting worried - shall is verry heavy, looks like completly different than supraphonic shall, It looks like someone change something with it. I attached photos with things that looks different for me.

Have some dents bud don't have any pitting, maybe it is brass? What do you think?

Thank you for help and greetings from Poland:).

It very well could be brass. the badge is correct for that time frame as is the crimped snare beds.

...and, to me it looks like a two piece shell, which would mean brass.

Looks to be brass, and has all the characteristics as one. Would like to see photo's of the snare as a "whole" though. Are these the ONLY photo's? If so, and if the price is high, would request more. This snare may have dents to high heaven, and you wouldn't know it.....as the P-83 strainer arm is bent? Was that disclosed?

Yes snare has a lot of dents, the P-83 is quite evident, generally snare has a lot of such defects, but it looks pretty good, I bought it for $ 200 so I guess that's not bad.
