Ludwig Hollywood ID...

Have a few questions, that I hope you all can help with. I bought a part set of Ludwig maple cortex, B/O pointy badge, 3 ply maple bass and LUDCOAT toms 115xxxx, and 116xxxx, did not have the 16 x 16 floor tom. What my question is, is this a 73 -74, Hollywood set, and was 16 x 16 part of this set, or another size floor tom?

Second question, the guy gave me this floor tom, it has been painted, does not have a badge, but seems to have Ludwig hardware, can you help ID this?

The grey interior toms are called granitone, the floor tom looks to be a MIJ Copy.

Your drummers not much good is he!? What you need is someone that's as good as me. ! John Henry Bonham !!

Looks like it was probably either a Hollywood or a Big Beat set (exact same drums with different stands). All Ludwig drums of that era were the same so the outfit name only refers to a particular combination of drums and/or hardware. Any matching 16x16 from the same era (and a supra phonic) would "complete" the set.

I agree that the floor tom doesn't look to be a Ludwig (at least from what you can see in that one image).

Floor tom NOT Ludwig, from what i see.. Floor tom leg brackets look to be Ludwig, but they could have been drilled and added on..

Thanks guys, I thought the set was a Hollywood, ( except for the floor tom ), I'll be looking for a maple cortex floor tom to add. I feel as you all do, I think the floor tom, being painted, grey paint on inside, not Ludwig lugs, but Ludwig legs and mounting hardware just didn't appear correct. Thanks for the advise...
