What do you mean by accurate?

They would be accurate for auction prices but retail prices on some of the same vintage items outside of Ebay might be slightly higher. On any given day though a drum or set is only worth what one person is willing to pay for it and another is willing to sell it for. Prices on Ebay would be a good way to ballpark what a similar item you own is worth because you may have the same item but conditition is everything and can also have an effect on value. Might give you that apples to apples comparison by item but condition is not always the same as what you have.

Valid: Completed prices of items that actually sold.

Invalid: Active auction prices without bids.

+1 on the above on a fairly accurate way to see current prices for what sells... and what doesn't!

Don't forget to disregard the outliers. They can really play havoc on value if you're not careful ... either too high or too low.

The way I look at it...if you see a kit or drum with a 'Buy It Now' price that is not going anywhere...then it is priced too high!
