Ludwig Club Date 1965

Loading...

I picked these up today.

14x20 8x12 14x14

I paid 650

I would give them a 8.5 out of 10.

I have a mint 65 matching Pioneer snare as well.

everything looks original except straight legs. No L arm but I have already.

all chrome is very good.

serial numbers coincide with oct 1965 per Vintage Drum Guide Ludwig page.

NO stamps on inside.

thoughts?

always like to hear what others think

beautiful. ive got a couple set of clubdates and working on another. i love them. gold sparkle is one of my favorites as well. you did well on those. in 64, they were cataloged with a pioneer, so thats a plus as youve already got one. enjoy those!

Couple more pics. So my question is why were some Club Date FT's made with the spring loaded FT legs?

Hey guys -

I bought a BDP nickel CD kit last week. I have a lot of work to do cleaning it up & finding some stray parts, but will post pics when through.

My FT has the spring - what, if any, is the significance of this? I'm curious what other mechanism there'd be; & why the ? popped up in the 1st place -

Best - Chris

markrocks' FT has the Ludwig Classic mounts & legs--may be factory, or may be a retrofit--holes don't quite match--I think one needs to be ovalled to make it fit..........marko
