OK. I drug um outside and took a few pics. I have been polishing for 3 days with Novus 1 and 2. The looked really sweet until I got them out in the sun! They really shine, look great, but I did not take much of the fade out as you can see. Well, at 44 years old I guess they should be faded some. I am 56 and I am faded a bunch! The 12 and the 13 look like they have been taking the low ride on the t-rods, with the hoops off, chewed on them a little. I was going to send them out to get the edges re-cut, but they would have taken a lot of material off to get them cleaned up. I could not do it! I kind of felt like I was sending a pet cow to the slaughter house. So, I started working on the edges today. Here are a few pics.

Indeed the 70's were incredibly hard on a resonant bearing edge as well as keeping a shell in round.
Looks like you are doing good work. Let us know how you are going about this process.

Hey thanks John. I have been polishing hardware most of the day. I have 20 claws, 20 t-rods and 3 floor tom legs left to do. Thank goodness! I think that I am getting polishidis in both hands. :D
