i bet that floor might hit $300. Really rare size...and I think Ludwig-Dude is looking for an 18 inch floor-tom.
I was when I had the second bass drum to make the double bass kit. I am no longer in search of an 18" tom in black panther.
I said black panthers were cheap to Ludwig-dude. Well here is one that can most likely be had under $500.http://denver.craigslist.org/msg/1596555294.html
And they can keep them. The bass drum is not an original finish black panther.....its stated to be an 18x22....ludwig never made one in that size, so not even sure its ludwig and if it is its been messed with with those horrble modern spurs. The 18 looks to have issues, even from that tiny pic. The 8x12 is so common it isnt funny, and the acrolite is one of those grey powder coat ones from the early 80's.......plus its on the west coast....I'm on the east coast...if the 18 was on feebay, maybe....
I didnt know Ca. had a Denver. I know Colorado does :)

The last two 18" floor toms I saw on ebay over the last few years went for $250 and $300.
Lug polishing is the most tedious part of a complete restoration to me. Is that pumice anything like ***eler's rouge ?
The pumice is more like a fine power. After I have used that (vid #1) I use a hard polishing bar (vid #2) which is like the j-e-w-lers rouge you asked about. It is a green bar instead of the red and is harder.
Well here's one that the bidding starts at $699, buy it now for $900.
how about this?

I saw that one too....not bad, but its supposed to have a 9x13 and a 16x18 to go with it....sizes that are there would make it an incomplete pro-beat kit.
You just spit that out without thinkin', dont ya?

I saw that one as well and I REALLY want that 24" bass drum, but the price is just too high considering I bought a full pro beat kit two months ago for less than what that auction's starting bid is.
