Ludwig Bass Drum hoops - always black? Last viewed: 1 hour ago

Loading...

Well, they only offered the black ones in black...

Don't know what I was thinking lol, especially since I've seen the attached pic more than once while browsing. It's burgundy with gold sparkle inlay too....

Then there are the blue/silver duco Club Dates with the blue hoops, with silver sparkle inlay sometimes, but for some reason I always think those are only the 13 15 22 kits...

[edit] looks like the pic is the bronze mist lacquer as Hobbs posted. The ebay number didn't work for me though so I can't check...

Here is a link to Hobbs Ebay listing. Beautiful drums!

They sure are and thanks for posting the link! If them interiors aren't repainted they're supernaturally clean!

First things first: didn't reply to orig. poster to highlight my listing.

But, as I mentioned in the listing I think these were not used a whole lot. The interiors are original and perfectly white. It's been a while since I've looked at these but the only thing iffy are a few hoops out of round. If I could find the matching floor tom I'd attempt to find replacement hoops (anyone hiding a FT?). I'd normally detail the entire kit but without the FT there's little upside in investing the countless hours to get it looking even better.

No worries about posting in my thread. I like the additional info and if it helps to inform others and helps a forum brother to sell some drums in the process, that is great, too. I appreciate the concern though.
