Finally finished this late 1940's Ludwig & Ludwig set. It was a long, rough restoration! The floor tom is slightly older, has a maple interior, and a date stamp of December 1941. It's a Chicago badged drum, while the rest of the set was made in Elkhart, Indiana in 1947-48 (white interiors).

Thanks! Yeah, I know what you mean. I do specialize in "basket cases" at times and they do take lots of work and patience. This one was just REALLY dirty and neglected. It's quite satisfying when that last head is put in place!
