I've just bought second hand kit, serial number 3335592. It's got the current Ludwig badge.

So far... Monroe badge and 'possibly' clear maple interior. If it's one of the low-end kits, it could be 'who knows what' kind of wood.

That aluminum gold colored Monroe badge was used on classic maple shells,and the silver colored Monroe badge was used on classic birch shells.

i can see its a cherry stain kit with mach lugs, so its a top of the line maple kit. my friend had one and i sold a few before.
as for year, its either a 4 ply or 7ply from around 96 and up. i don't have my ludwig books handy right now but the hdwr will help tell the story.
can't tell unless you take off a head and show the shell plies.
not vintage of course.
