I ended up putting this on ebay - another forum said that this was produced up untill about 65.... making it "Ringo" era stuff. I always roll my eyes when I see "Ringo" in any listing, but there is apparently quite a difference in auction outcomes.

ringo played an 1121 before he played an 1123 for years. the 1121 was made for years and into the ealry 60's. it then transitioned into another 1121 that had regular legs with rubber tips instead of the button feet and also had the same adjustable bottom cup as the 1121. they still called it an 1121 though. many people call them the speed king hi hat as well.
ive seen 65 kits that came with the old style 1121s. the 1123 was already out and in the 64 catalog though.
