Ludwig 1121 hi hat value Last viewed: 20 hours ago

I have what I believe is a Ludwig 1121 hi hat stand. It's been in my closet for many years and would like to sell it. Can someone advise me on the value and how much I should ask? It does not have the clutch.

Thanks

Wow ! The condition is showroom mint, as if it were transported through a time machine ;).. I would fairly guesstimate that beauty at around $150.00 U.S Dollars, give or take, even with the missing clutch..

Thanks for the reply. I was thinking maybe $90 plus shipping. I need to list my spare items in the for sale section.

You shouldn't have any trouble selling it at that price.. Very reasonable..

Yeah, in that condition even without the clutch it's worth at least 120 bucks. That's the stand every Ringo collector is looking for. Actually, I think human71 is right- at least $150.

That's not quite the "Ringo" 1123 stand - that one has the curved bottom piece and the footboard pulls the rod down directly like other SpurLok hats.

But the "Almost Ringo" still does pull a premium over the non-flatbase stands, and there can't be many nicer than this one.

That's a beautiful stand. Its the last design of the 1121 before the 1123 was introduced in the early 60's. The prior models had the round button feet. Ringo actually played one of these at one time. But the stand that he played for years was the 1123, like the Captain mentioned. The condition on this one is stellar.

OK, we'll see what happens with $90 plus shipping.
