mike, that snare is it! that single tension design sounds great!
i seen the two on ebay, but the kick is like a 6 lug, thats strechin it for me. my buddy gave me a 15" floor tom i near mint so i wanna build a kit around it. i never seen the color before till last week. i love it!

actually, if youve got the floor tom, youre ahead of the game. thats usually the hard part to find as many didnt come with them. good luck.

Justin...
Even tho I dont recommend anyone buy Kent Drums (they are not well made), if you already have the snare and floor tom, you really should get the bass and tom on EBAY as you may never ever see another 2 like that, thats a really rare color. Dont let them pass if you really want to build a matching set around the drums you already have!
i agree with the thought of going ahead and getting these. will hold you until you find something better at least. who knows, you may love them.
ive heard some good things about kents though. quality was just inconsistent from time to time and the later ones were imports actually.
mike
i use the single tension snare on a lot of records. producers love it. it really sounds killer
