Or super classic..can't see enough of the strainer.. ?

Missing dampener..not a bid deal...

Is the strainer correct.?

Should the starting of the wrap,B under the last ply of wood.? If original ?

As it sits,...worth ...@$400/500 or?

no expert here. but if there are no extra holes behind the p87 strainer, that would be a super classic snare. its probably 5.5 depth. the wrap should be tucked into the shell in that period. wrap looks correct from what I see in the pics.

the jazz festival would have the p83 strainer.

I have the identical snare, pre-serial WMP, Super Classic. In good condition they can command between $450 and $650. These snares were formerly known as the 'Buddy Rich' model.

Underrated snare (SUPERCLASSIC), if I don't say so myself. Everything looks correct ... my only concern would be that really, really white interior paint that looks too heavy & white. I had a 100xxx version & the white paint was very light, with an appearance that was very much like birchbark.

Value? Hmmm depends on overall condition. 300 - 600+ (if you find the right kind of buyer).
