They are not a set and they don't match so the only value would be what the total of the three drums are worth individually (which I bet is significantly less than $800 but he'd probably make more money selling them one by one).
I don't know what the current market price might be but I'd be inclined to offer these sorts of prices...
bass drum $200-$250
small tom $100-150
Floor tom $100-200
So $400 to $600 (IMO). Less if there are any extra holes or any of that sort of "Monkey Business".
If you can wait a little longer and just keep searching Craigslist then something much better will turn up. The most money I have ever paid for a kit was 600.00, and that is my Camco kit, came with some nice brass also. And, I paid 500 for a Ludwig super classic in blue oyster pearl, that also came with some nice cymbals, a couple cool timbales and a supra.
The deals are out there, just dont share them with the forum until you have then in your house, there are some on here that will buy them out from under you.
Good luck!
Thank you!

That is some good advice from jeff C......patience is really the key..........there is also some good deals right here on VDF ! u may find a member with too many sets and may opt to let one go here for a good price instead of using ebay. if i had a set for 800.00 there would be no reason not to sell it to a forum member for 720.00. Post what u are looking for in the wanted section. eventually u will get it for what your budget allows.
I was looking for a 14 x 20" gretsch stop sign badge black nitron bass drum...(pretty specific) LOL ........and one came my way right here for a very fair price thanks to manny who send another friend a lead i was looking and in less then a week it was at my front door.

Definitely a wiser use of money. A great deal. Rogers were "the Cadillac" of drums at the time and are every bit as good as Ludwig. John will do right by you ten-fold.
See what I mean .............lol I might even ask for a pic.....for the most part we are brothers and try do our very best for each other.
