What would you really prefer me to get one day if I've was looking for another old set of drums . Would it be an old Tama super star , Or another old Pearl , Or would it be another old Ludwig .

With a size of 8 , 12 , 13 tom rack .plus a 22 or 24 bass drum .

Floor tom size would be like a 16 or a 18 inch tom .

Or

would you get a 10 , 12 , 13 toms

Deep toms or the Standard toms .

This is a suggestion . One day . I know I can't afford it now ,LOL but one day I will .

If I could only have one drum kit it would probably be a Ludwig Club Date w/matching pioneer snare. These could be had for close to $800-$1,000 and hold their value.

If affording it is part of the equation and you wanted it to be an older set, I'd keep my eyes open for Ludwig Standard in one of the cool finishes they offered and try to get it in the jazz sizes 20,12,14 if you tend to play smaller venues and 22,13,16 if playing in larger ones.

Thanks

But I always liked the bigger bass drum like a 22 or a 24 inch . See I am a Blues Head dude rocker . LOL I always like the 3 toms rack . So Larry you would probably get an old Ludwig that will hold their value . Pretty much that is true . Old drums do hold there value over time . Tama and Pearls dose do right . or not .
