Been playing my '57 Slingerlands a lot...mostly because I can't get enough of that 1-ply maple snare...sounds so damn good!

By the other hand, a real pleasure to share this forum with such a distinguished members, Super Cool Club!
Here my two "utilities" kits:
1) Studio set Ludwig Classic Maple 24-14-16-16 + LM411 (All 79´s)
(Deep sound and "my taste" of feel, in one word... my all life set)
2) 2014 Gig set: Custom acrylic 20-12-14 + Ludwig C.Palmer Signature.
-really great sounding drum and i.m.h.o., espectacular look w/ lights on stage-
I hope you like it!
I play this one every day at home. At rehearsal I have a Ludwig Rocker kit to play on. And I also have my Rogers XP8 Koa kit ready to rock. But this is my favorite kit.
The first pic is of my first (and favorite) kit, which my dad purchased for me back in 1963. It's a Ludwig Sky Blue Pearl with matching Jazz Festival. I keep it set up in my "drum room" at the house. The second pic is a little "beater kit" I put together for use at our practice facility. I've got the matching Slingerland duco snare, which isn't in this particular pic. It's pictured with a Supra and a couple of generic toms. The final pic is a kit I've been playing out lately, which is a Slingerland natural maple with a Leedy & Ludwig snare. I enjoy all of 'em.
oldschool, that SBP Ludwig kit is stunning!
My 1966 Rogers Headliner and 1971 Slingerland Modern Solo kits are currently set up in the "drum room" at my girlfriend's house. Here are some pics of the Headliner! Need to get some shots of the Slingerland.

Thanks, Jeff. I've really tried to keep this one in nice shape since it was my first kit.
