LeBan drums

Loading...

I picked this kit up this weekend with the intention of flipping it while buying some vintage Ludwig drums. I believe it is 60's era. The bas, snare and rack tom are 3 ply with re-rings with an addiitonal ring in the middle of the bass shell. The floor tom is 6 ply without re-rings or matching badge, but has the same muffler, only it is in black instead of white felt. The floor tom's wrap is similar in age, but has a smaller pattern than the other drums.

Sizes: 20, 12, 16; 14 snare.

Thanks Fordman49. It has a cool look to it, and the white marine pearl has a really nice buttery look to it.

I also acquired a Ghost pedal, a Ludwig Ghost pedal, Rogers hihat stand, 70/80's era Tama hihat stand, all of which I will be selling.

The LaBan set was made by Pearl in the mid 60's..Some people think because the drums have three rings that they were made by Star..But if you look at the lugs, tom mount, ete these are Pearl made..Could you post a photo of the strainer and butt on the snare?.This would pin point the year better..The floor tom is a older 60's also made by Pearl..Pearl used these lugs that on on all the drums you have from mid 60's to about 71 on many many names of set's...Mikey

It has a way cool look to it! I'm a fan of aged WMP.

I tell ya, I don't see how yall can buy, sell, and trade kits. I have a hard time parting with pieces...let alone a whole kit!
