The question becomes "did the remaining maple shells from the PA warehouse end up with the Tama/Camco lugs"? This would make a very rare kit indeed if you could find one.
The Japanese six-ply birch shells are of very high quality. So the Tama/Camco "renaissance" drums have all parts made in Japan but assembled in the US?
The badges say made in the USA. What you're saying then is the 1978, 1979 "Camco" kits with six-ply shells are all Japanese parts, just assembled in the US?
