The question becomes "did the remaining maple shells from the PA warehouse end up with the Tama/Camco lugs"? This would make a very rare kit indeed if you could find one.

The Japanese six-ply birch shells are of very high quality. So the Tama/Camco "renaissance" drums have all parts made in Japan but assembled in the US?

The badges say made in the USA. What you're saying then is the 1978, 1979 "Camco" kits with six-ply shells are all Japanese parts, just assembled in the US?

According to the Tama experts who know far more than I do, Tama made Camco shells w/re-rings are in fact leftover Keller shells from PA. Most of those drums have the inlay around the center of the shell (actually I think it was a sticker made to look like inlay). They are rare and hard to find as they were only made for about one year but don't really bring big bucks compared to "real" Camco drums.

Made In USA doesn't mean all parts are American made. One would have to do a lot of research to find products that are 100% American/USA made. Tama/Camco drums fall into that category in that the parts were from Japan.

Should fit nice, for shure, but Australia is faaaarrrrr away from Sweden . I often watch Ebay , but it cost at least 100$ to shipp stuff to me,
