It seems that raising the front of the drum an inch does the trick pretty well. I do play relatively hard at times, but this is the first time I have experienced this. But anyways, seems like that solved my problem. A little bit of sliding going on, but nothing major. I may have to look into getting an anchor maybe, or maybe a piece of cloth for my kick pedal clamp will help it grip a little better.

if you add a (pardon the usage) Ringo bass drum stop, it will raise the drum and keep it there with little regard to spur strength. just a thought.
