Nope - rail mount was shifted so that the 2 toms could sit together on top, Impossible to do so in original position, just though I'd answer since I read it - chris
I`ve never seen a Ludwig rail mounted on the right of the drummer.

Hey VM -
if you look at the kit it's backwards ... check the badge out. The 2 holes are from the rail consolette.

chris, yes your dead on the money. Wow I really missed this one !? good work !
The ad said it was Gretsch.

Good eye guy, I totally missed that too !i
Some extra holes in the bass drum. They added on a tom and moved the rail to accommodate it. The snare is a Gretsch, and despite the Ludwig muffler, probably pretty decent. The one cymbal has a huge center hole for some reason. Even so...figure at least $300 worth of cymbals, the snare at least a couple hundred, maybe more, and then you still have the drums to account for.
Not the deal of the century but the best vintage deal I've seen around these parts lately.
Look at the tone control arm it is inside the vent hole on top of the gretsch badge, ???
... cymbal mount is there as well in the 1st pic - might make a nice cigarette holder though,

I missed that because I saw the other one to the right of the throw.

Yep,that's what I thought also. You can see the cymbal holder bracket still on the drum in one of the pics.
But for that price, two extra holes is really nothing.
