NOT Standards! Look again. Those shells are not 3-ply shells. The tom tom bracket is in the wrong position. And the spurs aren't Standard spurs, either. That, my friend, is a FRANKENKIT!!!

It is a rewrap obviously.

I would say it is a Ludwig Rocker -- telescoping spurs, same lugs as the Standard, etc.

The maple/poplar shells can sound nice. Not sure what these have though.

The metal bass hoops may/not be original. I can't remember if any of the Rockers carried those.

I did this to an MIJ (Riviera) kit in about 1974 - and a stray Star bass drum into the bargain. In today's purist climate it would be frowned upon but in the heyday of glam rock, damn it looked fine. I think I'd stand by it even today.
