I just bought on Ebay..

10 Lugger with the Ludwig logo stamped on the panel to the left of the throw.

The throw says pat pending.

I cannot tell if it is one piece or two... from the outside around the bead I do not see any solder..

I shot a picture of the inside where I can see some solder around the bead...

Drum weighs in at 8 pounds.

The drum was found in an attic... also attached a picture of the wires than were attached.

It is missing one of the 12.

Do you think I should I use it for get a PS.

I thought that 8 pounds was light for a two piece shell.

In the 20's the brass shells were two piece. 8 pounds seems about right?
