"Vector" Why can't you just angle the drum and pedal, at least that's what works for me.

When you do that it puts the floor tom back further to the right forcing you to turn your back more to reach it.

I was skeptical at first but once I tried one I had to have one.

Thanks for the response guys! I haven't had a chance to head to my local drum shop yet but when I do I will be trying out everything I can get my hands on and will keep these suggestions in mind!
