Cane across a set of these with the gold/black badge for very little money but cant recall if they were birch or maple.?Anyone know the ply config of these as well

Would the mahogany have the speckled paint over it with the Imp Stars?
Yeah I believe Imperialstars were mahogany under the zola coat stuff. Superstars were birch. I love old Imperialstars. I loved them ever since I knew Stewart Copeland used them back in the 80's.
