Can anyone tell me if this is an actual Gretsch ? Seller says it's vintage,. Pics are crappy, but i thought maybe some of you Gretsch guys might have a good eye and pick out what it might be ? I'm assuming maybe it's a vintage "Blackhawk" kit ? Any thoughts are helpful. I just can't go up there to see it either, as i have no car and he's a good 30 km away,

too far for public transport..

If they are "Gretsch" they are most likely 80s Blackhawks which are just cheap stencil sets that Gretsch was importing at the time. Steer clear.

I went and looked at it 2 months ago....It is Japanese,in bad shape (it looks like it came out of the Titanic), mactac covered and has fake Gretsch badges. i told the guy that it wasn't what he claims it is but the ad just popped up again....Watchagonnado??

Keep fixing them up...
