That info on the floor tom mount usage is outdated and incorrect. That particular mount was used as late as early '65 on floor tom leg mounts and tom mounts. There was one badge that I saw in the pics that was a 5 digit starting with 6 I think. If so, that is a '64 badge and that mount would coincide. Floor tom legs would be the double knurled pattern in the early to mid 60's if correct.

It would be fine to rewrap those but that particular wrap is no longer available so, unless it's falling off or really butchered, it might be best to leave it alone as someone may have a hankering for that long discontinued wrap. It isn't correct for those particular drums but at this point there is nothing much to lose and someone looking for a "mod orange" kit might be willing to pay a bit more (even for that version).
