Well my drum addiction got in the way aging .

i just purchased this supra-phonic i believe it to be a monroe Lm 400k hammered chrome (1982 / 1984) it's a bit on the rough side but no biggie i will have this snare looking like new after the holidays .

i'm thinking that this drum will be a keeper and a part of my ludwig collection for a long time to come. I would like to know as much as possible about this snare , the hi points and low points .

in the new year i will be after a 6.5 supra then i'm done :rolleyes:

I think that sticker inside your shell says Ludalloy.

Might it be an aluminum/ludalloy shell?
