I think people have lost there minds or have no clue.
I don't see a whole lot that looks right on that kit. What are those screw heads in the bass drum? I guess where a rail mount went. http://miami.craigslist.org/pbc/msg/3190631025.html

Ha, I noticed that about an hour ago myself. Shame what people do. I agree.
and the guy wants at least $1375.00 for them. You can buy a really nice kit for that.
This seller thinks he's going to start a frenzied auction,... starting at $1375.
This vintage Slingerland drum set is for sale at best offer over $1375. This means that I am requesting offers above this amount.
Uh, OK. Glad he clarified that.
I would offer him about 16 dollars, plus the cost of the ammo, if he took those Zplanet cymbals to the range and shot a video of him using them for clay pigeons!!!Cool1Cool1
Looks like he also worked the bearing edge at a sharp 45 degree cut. This will change the sound of those old slings in a very bad way from my experience.
At most, that drum set is worth $300 as a beater set. Another $300 might make it presentable to take out in public. The small tom and bass drum look to be Stage Band models while the floor tom looks to be a Sound King model. The largest part of the $300 value is for the floor tom if it is a righteous Slingerland drum.
But, the ride cymbal has a "raindrop" sound so sought after...
Cheers
He's not wanting to sell his set, he's wanting someone to buy it from him.
