I can see why people do NOT list on eBay Last viewed: 6 minutes ago

kijiji is still kijiji in canada, but in the u.s.a. its ebay classifieds. its just like CL (as a free classified site) so that's a alternate option for you.

if your close to the boarder try posting in areas that are also close to the boarder were someone could pick up.

hopefully you won't run into listing problems your getting now.

Thanks - Yes, no troubles listing now. I got everything straightened up on Reverb.com and listed there. I was having trouble initially because I hadn't filled out my Profile. Once I did that (showing I lived in Canada) everything went smoothly.

They may not have the coverage for now but they are a lot less complicated and I hope they stay that way. They charge a flat rate of 3/5% with a maximum of just over $300 I think....that's good enough for me.

I stopped selling on E BAY because I was getting hustled all the time. Tension rod is missing a 100th of a millimeter of chrome I want a 25% discount refund. Over and over and if I did not accede to their demands they would report me to Ebay and my rating went down. Consider yourself lucky. It wasn't worth the hassle OR the hustle

Unless I'm mistaken, isn't NSMD (Not So Modern Drummer) now offering a classified section in its publication?

Hey Gary,

Long time no talk. I've been off the forum for a while. Yes ebay is tough especially the shipping, but yu can do local pickup only. You did a beautiful job on those Cadillac Gretsch ..Let me know if you need any help! I love what you did to my bass drum shell... Man your good!

Thanks Rich - thanks for selling me the bass drum. It was a tough decision to remove the beautiful finish. I didn't drill the shell - I have all parts to put a railmount and diamond cymbal mount on the drum - just could not bring myself to drill the nice 'virgin' shell as you can see here.

Wait til you deal with the "buyers" who get your product and then make up a flaw or "undisclosed defect" and demand a refund of 10 t o 25 or more percent of the price they paid and if you don't do it they complain to E bay and you get a ding on your customer rating.

I hate E bay.

Ebay has become annoying and frustrating to use, especially in regards to shipping. Worse for us Canadians. We really take it in the ass on this. Unfortunately to find some items it is otherwise difficult using other methods.
