Hey there HELP identify this snare drum!!!

Hey just got my hands on this snare it sounds unbelievable and the condition is incredible! Super clean, round and the throw/butt work like new.

Its hard to find info about it? Its a 3 ply shell. Very thin mahogany iner/outer plys with a thick poplar core and maple rings. Its a wide 14" diameter and a rough 6 1/2" deep. 6 lugs, top single flange hoop is engraved "leedy elkhart ind." No badge? Was assured everything original (not missing a badge) not worried about the badge cause damn the sound is unbelievable! Never played anything like it!

Came with a calve skin head with the leedy logo and a cows face?

Fill me in.......I really want to know! DATES, MODEL, THROW ect.....or point me in the right direction.

Definitely Leedy lugs and hoops....

Its better to have people think you're an idiot, than to open your mouth and prove them wrong, unless you doubt yourself then speak away....

Your drum is a Leedy it should have a badge on it or someone has re-moved the badge at one time..Look at the air hole grommet and see if it's been off the drum..I would date your drum sometime in the 40's look from a 4 number stamp on the inside of the shell that would give the year and month..Badge should be a black and gold in color....Mikey
