Help with my new Rogers set??

Loading...

Hello,

I just picked up a new..(we'll old) rogers set. Instead of the original snare it had an old Ludwig. i was wondering if anyone knew how to find out what year it is? and maybe how much its worth? i bought it for $500 and i wanted to see if i got a good deal or not.

Thanks,

Pics, please, description of the paper tags inside, or the foil badges outside.

If paper tags they will say the series, such as..... Holiday, Tower, Classmate, etc.

If Foil Badges, They will have a Big R and say Rogers Drums USA either with or without a serial number

The interiors will be either black, flat gray, speckled gray or natural maple.

With that kind of information..... we can date them to with in a year or so.

Working on getting pics now! The paper tag inside off the bass drum reads.. Rogers Drums USA, serial # B23480 and underneath that it says 60-5322 9/72. Also, one of the toms has a paper tag serial # B22156. The drums are black (possibly metalic). Inside all of the drums is speckeld paint. The old ludwig snare's serial # is 593677. The whole set is comprised of 1 rogers bass drum, 1 rogers floor tom (still has original rogers head on it), 2 rogers tom toms, 1 rogers hi hat foot pedal, two original cymbals (one is broken), I have all the hardware for the drums and the cymbols that go with the set and i also have some sabian cymbals aswell.
