Help with 15" Gretsch Snare Last viewed: 3 hours ago

15" by 8" gretsch snare?

Hi All. Does anyone know anything about a 15 inch diameter by 8 inch deep 16 lug snare drum by Gretsch? When I bought this drum it had a WFL classic snare strainer on it but a Microsenstive adjustable butt. The rims are stick choppers but have tension rods, not clips. It does not look like it is a cutdown drum. It has snare beds in it. And it's very heavy. I would appreciate any input, advice,or comments on this drum. Thank you very much, Crusher
