I could really use the $$$ for Christmas. I know I will acquire a kit like this some day in the future, but.... gosh, I hate to let it go. I guess everything has it's price. I'd love to see it stay together, but I know I can get more by parting it out. I'm looking forward to the wisdom of you guys on this board for a little guidance. I welcome your comments (offers??).

It would be a sin to part it out. Any local music museums near you, maybe they'd be interested in it.
Very kool kit. I would have thought that to have been from the 1920's more then from the '40's.
hahaha I thought of the same with my set for a few years finally I said to my self.'' I not using them and they are just taking up room lets get rid of them'' A 5 pc set in good condition
Cool kick and hardware. Did she sell or did you have a change of heart? I noticed the eBay sale was ended. I have a '49 Leedy kit and she is by far the most beautiful kit I own (sounds great, too!).
I have a buyer in Norway, but shipping may be too high. Hope not! I was hoping to sell before Christmas.
