I'm trying to help someone identify this snare. It's a Slingerland with the natural wood finish. Any ideas? serial number #74213 I just want to know what it's worth and how old it is. I'm helping a new band director who has inherited a lot of drums. Hoping to sell some to buy other instruments he needs. Thanks.

Standard Concert Model snare . Niles silver badge so made between mid 60's and early 80's . Sure someone here will be able to tell you its value . You could also take a look on Ebay ( especially at the SOLD auctions section to see if any have been sold recently and how much they fetched .
