Hello ladies and gentlemen, im new here..

Loading...

Hey very excited to be a part of this forum.

Never been one to participate in forums but this place is somethin else.

Im looking foward to learning from everything and everyone on here, seems the enthusiasim is contagious here and genuine. And the knowledge seems limitless....

Ive been purchasing vintage/modern drums/cymbals and working on developing a certain sound for a good bit now. Getting familiar with heads, woods, shells ect.ect.ect.......(endless endeavor). Just finished tracking a new album with my band using many different drums and configurations cant wait to share it with you guys when its done. Very cool drums, very, very cool sounds!!!!

Ive recently decided im going to build my own drum kit! HAHA Its frightening!!

I need to find vintage WFL classic nickel plated lugs large and small. Ideally 10 small for an up tom 12X8 & 16 for a 16x16 floor tom. Im willing to barter and pay you what you want!!!

Let me know guys and gals, im gonna be around.

Thanks, Jesse

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Yeah man this place is great! Ive been a fan of the vintage drum guide for a long time.

I recently bought a 58 WFL orchestra model snare 6.5x14 the thing cosmetically wasnt pleasing but it was round and I freshened up the edges a bit, man you guys would flip on the sound. The tone is unbelievable I had four other snares I was goin to record with but this changed everything. Ive seen em goin for real cheap latley on ebay! Its a gamble becuase structurally vintage stuff is old but if any of you cats can find one of these spring for it!!

got a remo emperor rennaisance on batter, remo snare ambasador clear snare side and 20 strand pure sound copper wires. Get pics up soon.
